Certification Timeline: What You Need to Do and When
Here are the key dates to mark on your calendar:
For Salesforce Certifications:
- June 30, 2025: Final day to register for exams via Webassessor
- July 13, 2025: Final day to take Salesforce exams on Webassessor
- July 21, 2025: New system launches on Trailhead Academy
For Tableau Certifications:
- June 30, 2025: Last day to register through Pearson VUE
- July 6, 2025: Last day to complete Tableau exams on the current platform
- July 21, 2025: Tableau joins Salesforce certifications under one roof
What Action Do You Need to Take?
1. Create (or Update) Your Trailblazer Profile
- Head to Trailhead
- Use the same email you used for Webassessor or your Tableau account
- This ensures your past certifications transfer smoothly
2. Check Your Scheduled Exams
If you’ve booked an exam after the cut-off date:
- Salesforce exam after July 13? Reschedule or cancel and rebook after July 21
- Tableau exam after July 6? Cancel and rebook (don’t reschedule to avoid a fee)
3. Voucher Code Holders: Good News
- If your voucher expires after July 21, 2025, you can reuse it in the new system
- Expired vouchers or those expiring before the switch won’t be valid

A Note for Tableau Professionals
Yes, Tableau certifications are officially becoming part of the Salesforce certification family starting July 21. Your most recent Tableau exam data will transfer automatically—just be sure your Trailblazer profile uses your Tableau exam email.
Also, Tableau maintenance requirements are getting an update too—details will be shared on May 20, 2025.
And Yes—The Exam Platform Is Changing Too
Say hello to a new instance of Pearson VUE designed specifically for Salesforce certifications. The interface, scheduling process, and support will all get an upgrade. More on that experience will be revealed post-launch.
